Lezama's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Lezama gets 5 stars because of more than one reason. Years ago this building was Freddy’s and they were one of the places my parents grew up on. They are definitely up to par if not better than Freddy’s. Back to my parents, they are frequent customers of Lezama. We have never really had anything negative to say and would recommend the grandma and the breaded chicken parm pizzas. They have never made a pie we disliked. Today 6/17 we had a miscommunication and we ended up with a cheese Stromboli instead of a chicken parm. I called and explained that my parents were regulars and very hard customers to please, so if they’re regulars you’re doing something right. They had us come back and pick up a chicken parm Stromboli, but when I got home, my dad had devoured the cheese Stromboli XD. Do yourself a favor and order from this place if you live in Long Branch, or visit the shore this summer.

I am a new-ish Long Branch resident and Lezamas was one of the first pizza places I went to since moving here. Since then, I have tried several other local pizzerias and I have found that Lezama’s is my favorite. Their seafood is also absolutely delicious. I have ordered takeout many times, and have never had a bad experience. I also like to dine in, since it is BYOB and their complementary bread is delish!

Amazing pizza!! Not too greasy and thin-crust makes it tasty and amazingly good!!! really impressed!! Thank you we ordered their new Pizza on the menu and the Margherita!

I have been coming to this pizzeria since I was a kid when it was Freddie’s. Naturally when I came home to visit I had to go for the nostalgia. The pizza was thin crust and delicious! Ordered both a thin Sicilian and regular pie, along with the seared scallops. We were a large group and was able to taste a few dishes which were all fantastic! I highly recommend you give it a try.

Boston style pizza was awesome. One of the best I've ever had. Worth a stop if you go.

Incredible! We got all this - and two desserts - for $60 or so. It's hard to tell, but that's a 14 inch sub for perspective about how big the rest was! This feed three people well for two whole meals. The calzone was delicious. The cheese steak was one of the best I've had and the bread was so fresh. And the thin crust pizza was surprisingly delicious! The server brought us breadsticks during our wait. Can't wait to be back next time we head to the shore!

Preparing to have another Pizza Lunch after a Medical Monday Doctors Appointment!!! Today's Pizzas were both Thin Crust. Ordered the Brooklyn Sicilian Thin Crust, a thin crispy crust with provolone, mozzarella, romano, sauce and oregano. Nice taste with the mixed cheese's!!! The other was a Sausage, thin crust, tasty sauce, cheese and fabulous crumbled sausage. This place has only been open for over a year by 2 months. It might just give the Old Time - Legacy Long Branch Establishment's a run for the money!!! Best of the experience, leftovers for snacking or lunches the next couple of days!!?
